Biography:
Barbara Alper lives and works in New York. Her instincts, her interests, and her sense of adventure dictate her style. She has photographed the famous and the not so famous, and she has traveled worldwide in pursuit of great photographs, including underwater for her series
Sea Samba.

Exhibited in Japan, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and the United States, her photographs are included in major collections around the world, among them The Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Maison Européenne de la Photographie, FNAC, and the Bibliothéque Nationale in Paris, the International Center of Photography, The New York Public Library and The Brooklyn Museum in New York, as well as private collections.
